What is a Baseline Concussion Test?

Baseline concussion tests are computerized tests that give an athlete's brain a "normal."
They measure things from memory and concentration to reaction time.
These tests are then used to compare to the results of a test taken after a concussion to plan for the best recovery and see when the brain has healed to the best of its ability to allow for a complete recovery and fastest return to play.
Baseline concussion tests assist health care professionals in the evaluation and management of concussions.
Head First will provide ImPACT tests to middle school athletic programs free of charge.
